# Introduction

Blockchain technology is fueling innovation at an incredible pace as new applications and decentralized business models emerge every day. However, gaining early access to these exciting projects as they launch remains challenging for many. Traditional venture capital is restricted to accredited investors only, leaving out retail participants who wish to support innovation.
